今回のファームウェアアップデートにはAiMeshのバックホール接続やAndroid 14端末とのWi-Fi接続に関する問題の修正のほか、DS-Liteおよび「OCNバーチャルコネクト」（MAP-E方式）のサポートが含まれています。

なお、ASUSが公開している動作確認済みリストへの反映は2024年5月29日時点で確認できず、MAP-E方式の「v6プラス」のみがサポート対象となっています。
2024年5月現在、ASUSの無線LANルーターのうちRT-AX3000やRT-AX59U、TUF Gaming AX6000など一部のモデルでファームウェアアップデートによりDS-Liteが利用可能になっています。
