2024年1月12日現在、Steamで「Network Engineer Simulator」のページが公開されています。価格や発売時期などは同日時点で明らかになっていません。
Walrus Game Studioが開発するNetwork Engineer Simulatorは題名の通り、ネットワークエンジニアとしての業務をシミュレートすることに主眼を置いたゲームのようです。SteamのページやYouTubeで公開されているティザー動画からは、ラックにマウントされた複数の機器をケーブルで接続している様子が確認できます。
In Network Engineer Simulator you are hired to do the unenviable job of cleaning up data closets. You will visit various locations from small closets to large data centers where you will need to untangle and organize these server racks and ensure various services are operational. Your goal is to beautify these closets and make sure the company remains operational. Remember, it’s always the network’s fault.

登場する機器は複数種類が用意されるようで、記事トップにも掲載したスクリーンショットには"Firewall"・"Layer 3 Switch"や48ポートスイッチといった機器が写っています。
現時点で判明している要素はケーブリングのみに留まっており、現実に即した機器の設定などを行えるシミュレーターとなるかは今のところ定かではありませんが、Steamページ内の製品紹介には以下の記載があり、ケーブリング以外にも何らかの機能をシミュレート可能にする構想はあるようです。
